Meyda Lighting operates a fully integrated lamp-making and architectural lighting facility in Yorkville, New York. Combining state-of-the-art 3D engineering software, high-precision CNC metal fabrication machinery, and traditional old-world hand craftsmanship under one roof, we deliver custom contract luminaires tailored to exact commercial project specifications.
Our experienced engineering team converts initial sketches, architectural blueprints, and designer specs into detailed shop drawings and photometrics, evaluating structural load weight, voltage configuration, and mounting hardware.
Utilizing high-precision CNC metal lasers and multi-axis routers combined with hand wrought iron forging, skilled American artisans fabricate solid brass, steel, and aluminum frames for large-scale custom chandeliers.
From high-temperature kiln glass slumping to authentic Tiffany copperfoil hand-soldering, our studio creates custom stained glass panels, art glass diffusers, and bent glass shades engineered for high durability.
All custom made-to-order and catalog fixtures built in our facility are tested and certified to UL and cUL standards for dry, damp, or wet outdoor locations. This ensures absolute compliance with international building code inspections and commercial project requirements.
Fixtures can be engineered to comply with California Title 24, International Dark Sky environmental guidelines, and custom voltage drivers (110V–240V, 0-10V / DALI dimming) for global commercial installations.
