Who We Are

A Single-Source Decorative Lighting Manufacturer for Global Projects

Meyda Lighting is a vertically integrated American lighting manufacturer in Yorkville, New York. Metal fabrication, glass cutting and kiln work, copperfoil soldering, hand finishing, wiring and quality inspection all take place inside our own plant — which means specifiers, distributors and contract buyers deal with one accountable team from shop drawing to crated shipment. Every fixture is built to order, so size, glass palette, finish, lamping and mounting can be matched to the architecture instead of the other way around.

Signature Capabilities

Three Disciplines, One Workshop

From one-of-a-kind architectural statements to catalog classics, each program is supported by in-house engineering drawings, weight and load calculations, and photometric documentation.

Buyer & Specifier FAQ

Answers for Architects, Distributors and Project Buyers

Yes. Our in-house engineering team converts concept sketches, CAD drawings or reference photographs into dimensioned shop drawings that include weight, wattage, voltage, mounting and field-assembly detail. Custom sizes, glass palettes, finishes and lamping are all part of the standard custom process, not an exception to it.

Fixtures are constructed to UL and cUL standards for dry, damp or wet locations as specified, and can be engineered with 120V, 220–240V or low-voltage LED drivers for international installations. Cut sheets, photometric files, finish samples and compliance documentation are supplied to support submittal packages.

Made-to-order catalog fixtures typically ship in a matter of weeks, while multi-fixture architectural programs are scheduled against your site timeline. Because casting, metal fabrication, glass work, finishing and assembly all happen under one roof in Yorkville, New York, lead times are managed internally instead of across outside vendors.

We supply hospitality groups, casinos, restaurants, retail centers, healthcare and corporate interiors, houses of worship, multifamily developments and private residences — working directly with architects, lighting designers, purchasing agents, showrooms and authorized distributors. Details on distribution channels are available on our How to Buy page.
